Cotton Henley Care & Washing Guide

Heavyweight cotton is incredibly resilient, but maintaining the deep black pigment and preventing "pilling" requires the right routine:

• The Wash: Machine wash inside out in cold water. Using a cold cycle is the best way to prevent the black dye from fading and the cotton fibers from shrinking.

• The Detergent: Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents which can sometimes leave white residues on dark heavyweight fabrics.

• The Dry: Air dry flat to maintain the garment’s shape. If you prefer a softer feel, tumble dry on the "Delicate/Low Heat" setting for 10 minutes and then hang to finish air drying.

• The Finish: If needed, iron on a medium setting while the shirt is inside out to avoid any "shiny" marks on the black fabric.
